We are currently looking for Behavior Therapist (Part -Time) San Fernando and Antelope Valleys (Northridge and Palmdale) from 2:00pm – 8:00pm weekdays and weekend.

Candidates living outside the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley will not be considered.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Provide ABA services to children with Autism and other developmental disabilities in a home setting
– Be responsible for implementing behavioral strategies under the guidance of a case supervisor

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

– Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Speech Therapy, Counseling, Special Education or other related field and one year of experience in working with children; or High School diploma and 3 years of experience in working with children;
– Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) a plus;
– Demonstrate excellent communication skills;
– Experience in working in home settings;
– Willingness to work evening hours (2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) and weekends as needed;
– Possession of reliable transportation, valid driver’s license;
– Negative TB test results and clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting;

Please note, required 40-hours paid training is to be completed within 2 weeks from hired date.

Paid Sick Leave time is offered.

ABA Clinical Supervisor with BCBA certification
Opportunity –  San Fernando Valley, Antelope Valley.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Performs functional behavior assessments for in-home ABA treatment;
– Designs individualized ABA programs;
– Trains parents and staff in the delivery of customized behavioral interventions for the treatment of problem behaviors and skill deficits;
– Makes regular supervision visits to client’s homes to oversee intervention delivery and provide on-going parent consultation;
– Creates data collection systems for interventionists;
– Reviews and reports outcomes of skills training and behavioral interventions;
– Writes assessment and progress reports and trains staff in the supporting role of assisting in data entry and graph creation;
– Leads and supports case team meetings to promote treatment uniformity;
– Participates in clinical meetings with other supervisors and the clinical director.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

– BCBA certification;
– Master’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, behavior science, education, child development, or any other related field;
– Experience with children on the autism spectrum;
– Experience working with children with developmental disabilities and/or behavior problems.
